My prom look

So I'm only just getting around to showing you my prom look! It's been almost a month since the big night- so I decided it was about time to share what I wore with you.

I did my make-up myself as I trusted myself to get it right!

Make-up

Primer - No7 Shine Free Primer

Foundation - Benefit Some Kind-a Gorgeous Lite

Blush - Bare Minerals blush in Kiss

Lips - Clinique lipstick in Wow Violet with some MAC Vegas Volt on top

Concealer - Rimmel Hide The Blemish in Ivory

Eyes - Bare Minerals in 'Nurture' 'Smoke' and 'Winter White'

Dress

Hair

Spiral curls with flower pins from Boots.

Styled by a local salon last minute following a hair disaster courtesy of my mum!

I was so happy with the whole look, I felt really confident and had a great night!

Hey, I got my new shoes on..

So I needed some skyscraper heels to go along with my prom dress (oh my gosh, Thursday). I looked around all of the usual places, Topshop, New Look, ASOS, River Island.. before stepping into Dorothy Perkins.

I have to admit that it isn't a shop that I shop in often, I just don't find the stuff in there to be fitting to my current style. I was drawn in by the massive sale sign outside however!

After trying on some gorgeous pairs I found that since losing weight my feet have definitely shrunk! In the end I went for these beauties, which were reduced from £42 down to the much more reasonable price of £30.
